'''Owa Daim Shrine''', also known as the '''Stasis Trial''', is one of the many [[Shrine of Trials]] from ''[[The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild|Breath of the Wild]]''.

Early on in [[Link (Breath of the Wild)|Link]]'s quest he will raise the [[Great Plateau Tower]] and shortly after that, the [[Old Man (Breath of the Wild)|Old Man]] will seek Link out. The Old Man tells Link that in order to leave the [[Great Plateau]], Link must first acquire the [[Paraglider]]. Link will need to collect a [[Spirit Orb]] from each of the four Shrines in the Great Plateau. While the Old Man points Link towards the [[Oman Au Shrine]], Link and can complete the first four shrines in any desired order.

The Owa Daim Shrine is located at the south end of the [[Great Plateau]], up on a higher ledge. Link can reach the shrine by traveling west of the [[Woodcutter's House]]. He will need to chop down a tree to create a bridge and then climb up the steep hill. There are rest spots along Link's climb, allowing him to take breaks.

Alternatively, Link can reach the shrine through the cold and snowy region. From the [[Temple of Time (Breath of the Wild)|Temple of Time]], Link can travel westward where he will find an archway that leads into the cold. Link should acquire the [[Warm Doublet]], or cook some [[Spicy Pepper]]s to create [[Spicy Sautéed Peppers]], giving Link some [[Cold Resistance]], and allowing him to travel through the harsher climate. Once Link enters the colder region, he can travel southward alongside the [[River of the Dead]]. After climb up some of the walls, he can drop down to the east to arrive at the shrine.

At the nearby pedestal, place the [[Sheikah Slate]] to acquire the [[Stasis|Stasis Rune]]. This rune will allow Link to freeze an object in time for a short period. While the object is frozen, if that object is attacked repeatedly, then when the stasis wears off, it will react to the kinetic force of all those attacks at the same time, typically launching even the heaviest of objects.

Examine the altar ahead to meet [[Owa Daim]]. This will complete the trial and Link will acquire a [[Spirit Orb]].

After the Great Plateau has been cleared, the Owa Daim Shrine has the [[Travel Gate]] which is the closest to the [[Taobab Grassland]], located to its southwest. This makes it a valuable travel point to paraglide from when capturing both the [[Giant Horse]] and when selecting the other [[Horse (Breath of the Wild)#High-Tier Horses|high-tier horses]] located in the Grassland.
