Vulture is an enemy that appears in the desert area of the Light World. They are normally found resting on a cactus. When Link approaches the enemy, they will circle around him until defeated.
The Tendoru is first encountered perched on top of a cactus within the Desert of Mystery. When Link draws near, the Vulture will begin to fly and circle around its enemy. If Link doesn't move at all, the Tendoru will never hit him and instead, will just continuously fly around him in a circle. In fact, Link must make an effort by moving directly in the Tendoru's path in order to get harmed at all.

A Tendoru alone is not much of a threat for Link. The other desert obstacles in combination with the Tendoru can be damaging. When attacking a Tendoru, Link will need to move around and can potentially run into the damaging cactus's, the land mines, or the enemy Geldarms.

Link can defeat a Tendoru with six slashes from his Fighter's Sword. A safer way to defeat the enemy is by hitting it six times with Link's Boomerang. Later in the quest as Link acquires more powerful weapons, a wide variety of them can be used to defeat Tendorus.
