He forms a father-son bond with Yunobo and always tells him to stay calm in order to get him back into focus when he panics, and even lets him know that he doesn't appreciate formalities, though Yunobo makes it clear that he looks up to him and can't make promises he can't keep. After saving Kakariko Village, Yunobo doesn't feel a sense of pride due to his history of his cowardice up until he met Link in his time, but Daruk still tells him that he is proud of being his descendant and dubs him the Champion of the future to bring Yunobo back up. | |||
