Nominally, it is used to unlock the house with the robot on the top, by showing the medal to [[Baris]]. In there, [[Link]] can find the [[Phonograph]] and the last [[Piece of Heart]] in the game. However, if Link collects the 130 figurines available before fighting [[Vaati]] for the first time, Baris will act as if Link has the Carlov Medal and allow him to access his house.
