Once Link has awakened all Four Giants and played the Oath to Order on top of Clock Tower, they will come together to stop the Moon from falling. Link will then enter the Moon through his mouth.

Inside the Moon, there is a large, open field, with a tree. By the tree are four children, each with different masks. One with Odolwa's Remains, one with Goht's Remains, one with Gyorg's Remains, and one with Twinmold's Remains. There is also a lone fifth child with Majora's Mask on. If Link talks to the four children, they ask for masks. If Link gives them masks, they will play a mini-game with Link. Afterwards, they will ask for more masks. If Link does this with all four children, he will be left with only transformation masks. If Link speaks to the child wearing Majora's Mask following this, he will ask Link if he wants to play. He will then notice that Link has no masks left, and will give him the Fierce Deity's Mask. The battle with Majora will then commence inside a separate arena. After defeating Majora, the Moon dissipates, and Termina is saved.

Note that giving away the masks and playing the mini-games of the four children is not required to fight Majora or complete the game, but necessary to obtain the Fierce Deity's Mask.

Hyrule Warriors
The powered-up hookshot pulls a small version of Termina's Moon down into enemies, scattering and killing them; and the Great Fairy has a similar move with the Moon as her Special Attack.
The Termina Adventure Mode map involves the Moon as a major mechanic. There is a 72 "hour" countdown, and each time a stage is completed, one hour is subtracted and the moon grows closer. Once the countdown hits 0, the map is reset - all squares except the starting square, completed Owl Statue stages, and squares surrounding those stages are locked and the countdown returns to 72. Rewards and Item Cards received are not lost. Ranks achieved are also saved, so if a player previously unlocked a stage by achieving an "A" rank on an adjacent stage, the player would only need to complete that stage with any rank the next time around. The Song of Time Item Card can be used to reset the map at any time, and the Inverted Song of Time card will add 10 hours (10 stages) to the countdown.
