When [[Link]] approaches where one dwells in the temple, the Bombfish comes out from under the sand and attempts to ram into him. When it starts swimming towards Link, he can hold up his [[shield]] and let the fish attack him or dodge the fish when it comes towards him. After being blocked or dodged, it swims around before trying to attack Link again.  

By going underwater, Link can do a [[Shield Bash]] that blocks and harms the Bombfish or use the [[sword]] to attack it. In the Lakebed Temple, Link can find a Bombfish in the maze-like room within the {{Tt|GameCube version; east-side in Wii version|west-side}} of the dungeon. In the Eldin Province, a dig cavern can be found with Link's [[Wolf Link|wolf]] form near the [[Bridge of Eldin]]. Here, many Bombfish can be found swimming in the shallow water.
