The Takkuri is an odd-looking bird with a massive sized head that will charge at [[Link]] when he draws near. If the bird hits Link, it will steal [[Rupee]]s, [[Bottle]]s, and even Link's [[Sword]]. Whatever the Takkuri steals from Link, it will become available at the [[Curiosity Shop]] for Link to purchase. Due to this, it is likely that the Takkuri is a lackey of either [[Sakon]] the Thief or the [[Man from the Curiosity Shop]]. However, if Link plays the [[Song of Time]], any items stolen by the Takkuri will have been recovered.

There is a lone Takkuri in '''Majora's Mask''', located within [[Termina Field]], near the entrance to [[Milk Road]]. it is one of the strongest enemies in the entire game, capable of withstanding quite a bit of damage. It will take 15 regular [[Arrow]]s to defeat.

 

Using the [[Stone Mask]] is a good strategy as the bird will not be able to see you. Link can use [[Fire Arrow]]s to deal significant damage to the Takkuri to quickly defeat it. Upon being defeated, the Takkuri will leave a tremendous reward of 200 Rupees. The Takkuri is one many ways Link can quickly farm rupees to save in the [[Bank]] to get a [[Piece of Heart]].
