8.1 Floating Gardens

~ Stage 1 ~

Grab all three of the weapons and then use the bow and arrow to shoot the two crystal orbs across the gap, causing a bridge to appear. Run northward and defeat the two soldiers that are found here.

This next part can be really tricky. There is a higher ledge found here and you’ll need to toss two heroes onto the ledge, including the hero with the gripshot. Then have the two heroes totem up, with the gripshot hero at the top. Aim to the right and grapple over to the peg found here. Have the gripshot drop down to the lower area just above.

On the left side of the gap, take control of the hero with bombs. You’ll want to throw a bomb so it lands on the ledge. The wind will blow it southward and it will settle against the raised platform. Setup the gripshot hero so he is right across the gap at the far south end. Have the hero on the left toss a bomb, and then quickly switch over to the gripshot hero to snag the bomb with the gripshot. Then quickly run northward and hit the orb nearby, causing a bridge to appear.

Once you get across the bridge, use the bomb hero to time a bomb so it hits the crystal orb that is found beneath the grating, causing another bridge to appear. Run across the bridge and step into the gateway.

~ Stage 2 ~

Have each hero grab a Cucco and fly over several platforms to the east. Here you will find a moving platform that moves up and down. Use the platform to reach the higher pillars. From here fly northward with your cucco to the large island. You’ll find a treasure chest on the higher pillar and if you can reach it, you’ll be rewarded with a silver rupee.

Once all three heroes land on the platform, four Helmasaurs will appear. These enemies will charge quickly after you, so switch between heroes so you can keep your distance. I recommend using the gripshot hero to grab the helmet off these enemies. Once all the enemies have been defeated, step into the gateway above.

~ Stage 3 ~

Totem up two-tiers high with the hero with the bow on top. Walk to the right and the wind will push you downward. You’ll notice some horseshoe like symbols on the floor. Once you are blown to the third one from the top, aim right and shoot an arrow. If your timing is right it will hit an orb, creating a staircase at the bottom of the area. Run over and climb the staircase.

On the right side of this area you will find a few cracked blocks. Totem up with the hero that has the bombs on top. Toss a bomb over and it will blowup the boulders. Then toss a hero over to this ledge and pickup a cucco. Use the cucco to fly over to the northeast, landing on the moving platform. Walk northward and hit the orb, creating a bridge, allowing the other two heroes to join you.

Defeat the soldiers that are found ahead and you’ll notice a pair of floor switches to the left. Have the heroes that have the bow and bombs stand on the two switches, causing a platform to rise. Now have the hero that has the gripshot walk onto this platform. The wind will blow you southward, so try to be careful. Once you reach the fourth horseshoe symbol, aim right to snag the key. Carry the key to the right side and use it on the locked door. Step into the gateway to reach the next stage.

~ Stage 4 ~

Walk to the north and you’ll be confronted by a number of helmasaurs and fire keeleons. I suggest getting rid of the helmasaurs first, as they can be a bit more annoying. For the keeleons, totem up and hit them with your sword or with an arrow.

After the first batch of enemies are defeated, more helmasaurs and fire keeleons will populate the screen. The platforms will fall as well, creating holes in the battle field. Defeat the enemies and then step into the gateway to complete the level.

8.2 Deception Castle

Recommended Costumes for this Area: Robowear, Gust Garb

~ Stage 1 ~

Grab the three items and drop off the ledge to the left. Here you will find two soldiers, both on top of moving statues. One of them is two tiers up and the other is three tiers up. Totem up and slash away at these enemies. You can use your gripshot to stun them temporarily.

In the next area have one of the heroes with the gripshot grapple over to the grating above, which will have him turn the grating so he is on the north side. Switch to the hero with the gust jar and blow some wind towards the grating, which will cause the hero to slingshot over to the platform above. Repeat this same process with the second hero that has the gripshot.

Have the two heroes totem up and use the gripshot to latch onto the moving grate. This will allow the hero to reach the higher ledge. Now have each hero step on the three floor switches, causing a bridge to appear. Step into the gateway to head over to the next stage.

~ Stage 2 ~

Step into the whirlwind with all three heroes to reach the spinning platform and then move to the center circle to trigger a number of enemies to appear. There are three soldiers that are attacking with various projectiles. The ball and chain trooper on the right can easily be defeating by using the gust jar to shooter a bomb flower over to the trooper. Repeat this process a few times to get rid of the enemy.

On the left side of the screen there is a soldier tossing spears towards the heroes. Use the gripshot to stun the enemy, and then quickly grab a bomb that is being thrown by the other soldier. You can also use the gripshot to snag a bomb flower. Toss the bomb over to the spear soldier and repeat this process a few times until he has been defeated.

The bomb soldier above is on higher ground. Totem up three-stories high, with the gust jar hero at the top. Blow the bomb flower towards the soldiers to defeat the enemy. Afterward, step into the gateway to head to the next stage.

~ Stage 3 ~

Move one hero to the right side of the balancing platform to act as a ballast for the hero with the gust jar to walk across. Once the hero with the gust jar has walked across have him wait on the center platform. Use the gripshot with the other two heroes to grip over to the hero with the gust jar. Totem up two-stories high with the gust jar on the top of the totem. Use the gust jar to knock the beamos off of the pillar that it is on.

With the one beamos out of the way, have one of the heroes with the gripshot walk over to the left side of the balancing platform and act as a ballast for another hero to walk around the platform on the right. Totem up two-stories high and throw the hero with the gust jar to the right platform. As you get closer to the center of the platform switch to the hero that is on the left and move closer to the center to ensure that he doesn’t slide off of the platform on the left side. With the gust jar hero now on the far end of the platform use the gripshot with the two other heroes and have them grip over to the far end of the platform.

Have the gust jar hero stand on the right side of the platform and a gripshot hero stand on the left side. Use the gust jar to knock bombs into the spinning blades to destroy them. Wait for the spinning blades to be at the top of their path and use the gust jar on the bomb to knock the bomb in at the correct time. With the right side of the screen cleared have the second hero with the gripshot come down to the right platform and throw the gust jar hero to the center where the locked door is.

Use the gripshot to grab the bomb on the right side of the screen and throw the bomb over to the hero on the left. Wait for the spinning blade to finish its path and throw the bomb right before it finishes its path. Repeat the same process for the spinning blade in the top left, but line up the hero on the left side at the top of the screen and use the hero on the right to maneuver to allow for more time with the bomb.

Once all of the spinning blades are defeated grab the key in the center and throw it over to the center platform. Be careful here as you cannot walk straight off of the platform that you are on. Have the hero that is on the central platform pick up the other heroes on each side to be safe.

With all three heroes on the center platform use the key on the door and attack the Squiddy to recover any hearts lost, then continue to the next stage.

~ Stage 4 ~

At the beginning of this stage grab any hearts that you need from the pots and the side pillars. Walk forward and a short cutscene will play out where the walkway behind you will fall and the boss fight with Gigaleon will begin.

In the first phase have one of your heroes positioned on the left and another on the right side of the arena. Wait for the boss to hover above one of the wind tunnels and use the hero with the gust jar to blow air into the tunnel and stun the boss for a brief moment. When Gigaleon is stunned change to one of the heroes with the gripshot and use the gripshot to grab one of the bombs on the side of the arena. Throw one of the bombs up the wind geyser and it will rise up and hit Gigaleon. After hitting Gigaleon with three bombs the boss will destroy the bomb platforms in the arena.

In this phase Gigaleon will continue to hover over the wind tunnels. Now the boss’s eye is exposed and has a platform that you can land on. Use the gust jar to create the wind geysers again and when Gigaleon is stunned pick up one of the doppels and throw them in the wind geyser. Land on top of the boss and slash your sword to get some attacks in. After three cycles of attacks Gigaleon will fall to the ground for a final attack. Slash at Gigaleon until it is defeated. Pick up your rupee reward and take the newly generated wind tunnels to the end of Deception Castle.

8.3 Dragon Citadel

Recommended Costumes for this Stage: Torrent Robe, Boomeranger, Hammerwear

~ Stage 1 ~

Gather all heroes on to the elevator platform and hit the switch when all three heroes are on the elevator. At the top of the elevator pick up the Magic Hammer, Water Rod, and Boomerang.

With all three items gathered totem up three-stories high with the hero holding the Magic Hammer at the top of the totem. Hit the spring with the Magic Hammer and stand on the spring with the three-high totem. Once the spring sends you up to the upper part of the stage stay at a three-story totem and hit the switch with your sword. This will open up the door to the next area.

In this next area throw your totem behind the yellow barrier and hit the switch on the floor and turn it purple. Quickly grab your two-story totem so that your doppels do not fall off of the stage. Totem up to a three-story totem and have the hero with the water rod at the top of the totem. Place a water pillar on the ground towards the edge of the platform and walk on top of the platform. Wait for the moving platform in the middle of the stage to line up with your water platform and walk over with your three-story totem. You will have enough height to land safely on the platform.

Once you are on the center platform make another water pillar and walk over to the right-most area. When you land on the right side watch out for the air flow. Walk up in small increments so that you do not fall off of the ledge. Wait for the small platform to meet you and take the platform on a short ride to another area with some raised platforms.

Take your totem and throw the two heroes that do not have the water rod up to the next platform. Use the water rod to make pillars and carry the two heroes up. At the top of the platforms there is a small platform that heads south that leads to a chest containing a purple rupee worth 50 Rupees.

After grabbing the purple rupee take the hero with the magic hammer and hit the hammer switches. After you have a pathway cleared totem up three-stories and walk across the bridge to the right. Be careful when walking across as you will be knocked back by the wind. Once you make it across step on the three hero switch and ride the platform elevator to the end of the stage. Break the pots at the top of the elevator for some rupees and stand on the Tri Force to make it to stage 2.

~ Stage 2 ~

Totem up three-stories high and walk across the disappearing platforms that form an L-shape. Time it so that you walk onto the first platform right when it appears to give yourself more time to cross. The platforms will go four down, then two more to the right, one up and one more to the right. The wind current will continue to push you so keep moving up and to the right to prevent yourself from falling. In the hallway after the invisible platforms there is a Sky Spear Soldier that shouldn’t be too much trouble. Dodge his spears and stun him with one of your items to make quick work of him.

In the next area there is a wind tunnel and a yellow switch that will raise and lower the platforms that block the air from blowing you off of the platforms. Keep in mind too that the see-through platforms will start to break and collapse if you stand still on them for too long. There are two methods to get across this gap. To play it safe take one hero and run across the gap, hit the switch and lower the yellow wall. This will raise the purple wall and will allow you to walk through safely. Repeat this for the other two heroes to get all three over to the other side.

The riskier method is to totem up three-stories high and walk across the platform. The trickiest part is to walk across the second part of the walkway without falling off. Keep walking up and to the left against the wind current and you can make it across the walkway with no major issues. If you’ve lost any hearts you can refill them by attacking the squiddy. If you have full hearts then you can attack the squiddy to get more Rupees and continue on with the stage.

At the end of the hallway take care of the two Sky Soldiers and make your way down to the final portion of the stage. Take the three heroes and step on the three switches to spawn four ice wizzrobes. These wizzrobes will be at different heights. For this fight be careful when attacking on the ground level. If you hit the switch in the middle of this area it will switch which side the wind tunnel is blowing on. The ice wizzrobes take a couple of hits with your sword. They will also change heights if they disappear and re-appear. If wizzrobes rise to another level then totem up or wait until they drop down to a lower level. Once you have defeated all of the ice wizzrobes walk into the Tri Force and finish the stage.

~ Stage 3 ~

Totem up three-stories high in this order. Red on the lowest level, green in the middle, and blue on the top level. Walk on to the red platform and throw the two-story totem to the green platform. Once that platform rises throw the Blue hero up to the top and grab the Red hero with the Green hero and walk off of the platform.

In the next area step on the orange switch and a blue platform will appear on the right side of the screen. The platform will be blocked by some hammer switches. This part may differ slightly if you had a different hero choose the hammer. Have the hero with the hammer pick up the cucco in this area and then have the Blue hero pick that hero and the cucco up. (If your blue hero has the hammer do the same thing but keep the Blue Hero on the bottom of the totem.)

Glide across the gap and land on the blue platform. When you land on the platform throw the hero with the cucco over the shorter hammer switch. This will allow the blue hero to walk over. With both heroes on one side totem up two-stories high and have the hero with the hammer hit the other switches down. Step on the orange switch and a bridge will form allowing the third hero to walk across. Take care of the two sky soldiers and walk up to a closed door.

Hit the switch with the boomerang and a door on the left will open. Have a hero grab a cucco and fly across the gap. Be careful to stay close to the wall but not too close. If you hug the wall it is difficult to turn and to avoid the switch that juts out from the wall. If you need help clearing the gap you can get some more height and time if you totem up three-stories high. Have the hero with the cucco at the top of the totem. Swap to the middle hero and throw the top hero. Swap back quickly and guide yourself to the open door.

Gather all three heroes and step on the three hero switch. This will play a small cutscene where all of the wind geysers are activated. Proceed down and to the right and knock down the hammer switches. There are some cuccos here that you can pick up to proceed through the next area which has the newly activated wind geysers.

Totem up three-stories high with one of the heroes at the top of the totem holding a cucco. The color at the bottom of the totem is not too important but having the red hero at the bottom gives a better angle for the platforms midway through this area. Jump straight to the geyser and ride the current to the platform that your hero is on the bottom of your totem. Stay along the left side of this area and ride the second geyser to the third and then final geyser. Before completing the stage, walk to the right and around the corner to find two treasure chests. These chests contain a red rupee and three hearts. From here walk back up to where the fork in the path was and walk straight up to complete the stage.

~ Stage 4 ~

Stage four begins with a fight against three aerolfos. The aerolfos will swoop down and do a few different attacks. Keep your distance from the aerolfos, wait until they swoop down and perform three slashes with their swords. Hit them from behind with the boomerang once they are done attacking to stun them. While they are stunned you have enough time to charge up a spin attack to hit them. It is a little bit more difficult to stun them with the hammer but that is possible as well. If you have the hammerwear or boomeranger outfit on this will make quicker work of the aerolfos providing a wider range for stunning them and more damage. After all three aerolfos are defeated walk onto the Tri Force and claim your reward.

8.4 Sky Temple

Recommended Costumes for this Stage: Hammerwear, Boomeranger, Legendary Dress, Tingle Tights, Jack of Hearts, Queen of Hearts, Sword Master Suit, Sword Suit, Dapper Spinner Kit, Fierce Deity Armor

Before we start this stage there are a few additional costumes that are recommended for this area. This is the last area of the game and contains a huge gauntlet immediately followed by a battle with Lady Maud. Generally any costume that provides you a benefit that isn’t exclusively tied to an item is useful in this stage. Notable costumes that do this are broken into two categories.

For extra hearts and general defense the Legendary Dress, Tingle Tights, Queen of Hearts, Jack of Hearts are good options. For dealing extra damage the Sword Master Suit, Sword Suit, Dapper Spinner Kit, and Fierce Deity armor are good choices. Some notable item-based costumes that are very useful in this fight are the Hammerwear and Boomeranger. These two costumes are very useful in the beginning portions of the stage. You gain no benefit from item-based costumes during the fight with Lady Maud, but if you are having trouble with the gauntlet and have these costumes available to you then they are very good options to go with to complete the gauntlet while taking the least amount of damage possible.

With the costume recommendations out of the way there are also some recommendations for items to select at the beginning of this stage. Sky Temple is unique because the level gives you access to more than just three items from the beginning. All items are viable and no specific items are required to complete the stage. With that being said, there are still some recommended items that we suggest you bring along for this long fight.

The Magic Hammer, Boomerang and Bow are three very useful items that are handy to have in many situations in the upcoming encounters. Despite these recommendations go with what items you enjoy and the ones you are most comfortable using. There is not incorrect choices to be made here.

~ Stage 1 ~

Make your item selections and ride the crystal platform to the first area. This area has two mini-margos that spin in a clockwise pattern. There are also two totem dekus that appear. From the center platform take your hero that has the bow and attack the totem dekus. You may need to totem up to attack the totem dekus at whatever height they are at. If you do not have the bow totem up to the height of the totem deku and slash at them with your sword once they pop out of the ground.

With the totem dekus out of the way have one of the heroes stand on the center platform and throw bombs from the bomb flower into the mini-margos. If you chose the bombs at the beginning of the stage you can stand in areas that are easier to line up with a bomb toss. With the totem dekus and mini-margos defeated slash any of the bushes to recover any hearts that you may have lost and proceed to the next area.

In the next area there are some water tektites, water octoroks, and a keeleon in an area with water in the center. A ranged weapon is the best way to deal with the water octoroks and water tektikes but they can also be taken out with your sword. The keeleon can be taken out by a three-story high totem. To play it safe make a three-story high totem with a ranged weapon on top to hit the keeleon or get the keeleon close to you and swing your sword. Once you finish up with these enemies take the glass platform to the next area.

This area is an ice-covered arena. You will be greeted by stacks of terrorpins, freezards, and ice wizzrobes. Take out the terrorpins by knocking them on their backs with a hammer or bombs. Terrorpins can also be knocked off of the cliff with your sword. The ice wizzrobes can be taken out with ranged weapons or with your sword. Ice Wizzrobes may disappear and reappear at different heights so you may need to totem up to take them out. Lastly, the freezards can be taken out with bombs, the magic hammer, or the fire glove. After clearing this area take the elevator to the Tri Force symbol and take the Tri Force to Stage 2.

~ Stage 2 ~

At the beginning of Stage 2 you can make any changes to the weapons that you are using. Once again, the magic hammer, boomerang and bow are three very useful items that are handy to have in many situations in the upcoming encounters. When you are ready to proceed, take the glass platform to the next arena which is a rocky arena covered with lava.

There are some kodongos on both sides of the arena, fire keese, and sky spear soldiers riding armos. Take out the kodongos first while avoiding the spears thrown by the sky spear soldiers. With the kodongos out of the way use a ranged weapon to take care of the fire keese. If you start to take damage there are pots at the top of the arena which contain hearts.

The sky spear soldiers can be taken out in a few ways. There is an armos at the top of the arena that you can ride to take on the sky spear soldiers. The safer way is to totem up two-stories high and attack the sky spear soldiers with a ranged weapon or your sword. Once the sky spear soldiers are defeated they may drop purple rupees. With these enemies defeated stock up on any hearts you need from the pots in the arena or at the end of the arena then make your way to the glass platform and ride the platform to the next area.

The next area is covered with sand so be careful when walking around the arena that you don’t stand still too long. This area contains stalfos, a gibdo, and groups of morths. Watch out for the morths which will slow you down and could make you fall into the sand. Make your way around the arena and take out the stalfos with your sword or any other close range weapons you have. Items like the bow are useful here or the boomerang to stun the stalfos from a distance and then run in and attack with your sword.

The toughest enemy is the gibdo at the bottom of the arena. The gibdo’s bandages can be unravelled by the gripshot or burned away with the fire glove. Once the bandages are removed the gibdo becomes a stalfos which is a little easier to take care of. With all of the enemies defeated refill your hearts from the pots in this arena and make your way to the glass platform to the left.

The lights will go out from the torches at the four sides of this room. Multiple ghini and a ball and chain soldier will appear in this room. Head down immediately to avoid the ball and chain soldier and take out the ghini as they appear. If you have the fire glove you can light the torches on the sides to see the room more clearly. Ghini will take two slashes with your sword but be careful as they can team up on you to take some hearts away. Try to guide the ghini to the bottom of the screen to defeat them without the ball and chain soldier attacking you. Try to defeat as many ghini as you can before taking on the ball and chain soldier. Ranged weapons work well here but using an item like the boomerang, the magic hammer or the gripshot to stun the ball and chain trooper is effective as well. With all of the enemies defeated step on to the Tri Force that appears and you will be teleported to Stage 3.

~ Stage 3 ~

At the beginning of Stage 3 you can make any changes to the weapons that you are using. Once again, the magic hammer, boomerang and bow are three very useful items that are handy to have in many situations in the upcoming encounters. The gust jar is also a useful addition to your weapon set. The gust jar can be a good replacement for the bow or the boomerang. When you are ready to proceed, climb the stairs on the right hand side while picking up the rupees along the way.

Once you make it to the top of the stairwell there will be a platform that drops off five sky spear and sword soldiers. Having an upgraded outfit is very useful for this part, however there are several weapons that can be useful in this area to take down the soldiers. The sword soldier’s shield can be pulled away by a gripshot and the soldiers themselves can be knocked away with the gust jar. Weapons that stun the soldiers are a good tactic to use as well. A good combination of items to use is the boomerang or gripshot to stun enemies and swapping to a hero with the gust jar to knock the enemies off of the arena. With all of the enemies defeated collect any hearts that you may have lost from the pots that surround the arena and take the stairs on the left.

In this area another cutscene will play and a platform will drop down some more sky soldiers to fight you. This batch of soldiers is a little tougher than the last group because one of the soldiers is a sky bomb soldier and a sky ball and chain soldier. Keep your distance from the group of soldiers and try to hit the sky ball and chain soldier from a distance with a ranged weapon. You can also stun the group of soldiers with a boomerang toss or with the magic hammer. Once you take care of the sky soldiers here take the stairwell up to the last area of the gauntlet. If you are down on hearts at any point during this gauntlet return to the previous platforms and collect any hearts from the pots that you have not collected previously.

In this last area two aerolfos appear. Wait for the aerolfos to swoop down and hit them with a stun weapon or run in and slash them with your sword. Be careful when they swoop down because they have different patterns after landing. Keep your distance from the aerolfos, and wait until they swoop down to perform three slashes with their swords. Hit them from behind with the boomerang once they are done attacking to stun them. With them stunned you have enough time to charge up a spin attack to hit them. It is a little bit more difficult to stun them with the hammer but that is possible as well. If you have the hammerwear or boomeranger outfit on this will make quicker work of the aerolfos providing a wider range for stunning them and more damage.

After taking care of the aerolfos collect any hearts that you need and walk down to the previous areas if you need any additional hearts. After the fight with the aerolfos the double doors will open and present the Tri Force pedestal to step on. A squiddy will also appear which well let you regain any hearts and pick up some more rupees. Step on the Tri Force pedestal and you will enter the last stage which is the final battle with Lady Maud.

~ Stage 4 ~

Stage 4 begins with Lady Maud approaching the heroes and taking away the heroes “accessories.” With your weapons gone you will have to take on Lady Maud and her pets with just your swords. Lady Maud retreats after promising to give you “A lesson in plaid in pain!”

Continue walking down the hallway and grab any hearts that you need from the pots surrounding the red carpet. Take the elevator in the middle of the carpet up to the final battle of the game.

~ First Phase ~

The Lady has multiple phases in this fight that require you to use all of the totem skills you’ve developed over the game. In the first phase The Lady will have a circular force field surrounding her. Totem up three stories high and throw two heroes over the force field and into the center. Wait for The Lady to start throwing parasols and throw the hero from your two story totem up to the center platform and attack The Lady from the back. She will knock you off of the center platform with her parasol and will continue to throw more at the heroes. After The Lady knocks the hero off of the center pick up the hero again and totem up two stories high. Throw the one hero in to the middle again and repeat the process.

After two or three cycles The Lady will drop the force field and will attack the heroes in succession. This is similar to the Moldorm fight from earlier in the game. The Lady will telegraph which hero she is after by the marks of frustration that appear above her head. Try to keep The Lady near the middle because her parasol strikes can knock open pots and waste hearts if you have full health or can’t reach them in time. As soon as The Lady gets within range of you, swap to another hero and then swap back as she runs to attack the hero that you quickly swapped to. Get a few hits on her and repeat this process to end this phase.

~ Second Phase ~

When The Lady enters the second phase a small cutscene will play and The Lady will drop the center of where she was standing. Be careful not to fall into the center as the platform drops. The Lady will begin a game of Dead Man’s Volley with you and the orb that she throws will be a different color. For this phase have all three of your heroes stand at the south portion of the arena in a straight line and face The Lady. If you get hit by the orb it will soar into the air and you have some time to recover with another hero before the orb explodes and shoots out a lightning bolt.

Having the doppels in a line in one area will let any orbs that you miss hit off of the doppels allowing you time to recover and hit the orb with the correct hero. Without doppels this phase requires all heroes to be on their toes as The Lady plays Dead Man’s Volley with you. Staying close together is still the valid strategy and will allow you to recover if any of your teammates get hit by the orb and it soars in the air. When The Lady is knocked down from the orb run toward her while she is on the ground and attack her repeatedly with your sword. With an outfit on that doesn’t do any extra damage from your sword it will take a couple of rounds of Dead Man’s Volley to knock The Lady into the next phase.

~ Third Phase ~

The Lady will transform into a giant with an elaborate three-tiered dress and frilly hat. For this phase the most reliable method is to totem up three stories high and throw the totem on to the parasols that The Lady has floating around her. If you have an outfit on a hero that does extra damage then that hero should be at the top of the totem. With your totem hop onto the parasol on the floor that matches the color of the hero that you have at the bottom of your totem. You can step on that color parasol and any hero can step of a parasol that is white. When you step on to the parasol move in to attack The Lady with repeated sword slashes.

After some attacks The Lady will take all of the parasols she has and launch them in to the ground emitting a lightning pulse. Dodge the lightning and wait for The Lady to spin her parasols around again. For this phase it is important to note the middle hero in your totem for when you throw them on to the parasols in the air. When you’ve hit The Lady enough times this phase will end and a short cutscene will play out. The Lady will raise the platform in the middle up and will begin the fourth phase of this battle.

~ Fourth Phase ~

In the fourth phase The Lady will be one level higher which will make us have to change our tactics. Instead of throwing a two story totem up to attack The Lady we will instead keep a three story high totem for the rest of the fight. Remember that a white parasol can be walked on by any hero. For this phase, walk on to the parasol that matches the color of the hero at the bottom of the totem or a white parasol and attack The Lady with your sword as much as you can.

While The Lady is dropping parasols for you to climb on she will also start launching electrified parasols that will strike the ground and send lightning pulses out at you. Be careful to dodge the lightning parasol while trying to make your way on to a parasol that your hero can walk on. The Lady gives you a small window to walk on to the parasols so keep your distance, but don’t stray too far from her to give yourself enough time to hop on a parasol platform.

While you are taking the ride on one of the parasols charge up a spin attack to get in some extra damage. Then attack with your sword and get as much damage as you can in on The Lady. This may take a few rounds to get enough damage on to The Lady but once you land the last hit The Lady will be defeated. Collect the rupees that drop and make your way to the last Tri Force pedestal in the game. After taking the Tri Force pedestal you will get your reward from one of the three chests.

~ Ending and Credits ~

After completing this battle exit the room and Sir Combsly will take you aside and mention that you have three of The Lady’s materials. He will also reveal that Madame Couture and The Lady were sisters. Sir Combsly will tell you to make your way south to Madame Couture’s. After speaking to Madame Couture she will ask you to make an order for The Lady’s Ensemble. She will make you this outfit which will help you lift the curse placed on Princess Styla.

Now make your way north to the castle. Once you enter talk to Sir Combsly and he will note that you are wearing The Lady’s Ensemble and tells you to go to Princess Styla quickly. Walk to the left and take the stairs up to see The King and Princess Styla. A cutscene will play out where you lift the curse placed on Princess Styla. The scene will move to a ceremony honoring your achievement of saving Hytopia complete with a three story high totem with Sir Combsly and The King while the townspeople rejoice. After the credits play out you are returned to the game. Return to The King and Princess Styla and they will gift you a new outfit. Princess Styla will give you the Semi-Cursed Tights. This outfit will let you dodge 50% of attacks but the attacks that land will do double the damage to you.
