In late 2022, Laurence Manning Trio (featuring musicians Laurence Manning, Daphnée Sincennes Richard, and Lou Dunand-Vincent) released the Zelda-themed album Trio of the Goddesses. Now, while the album itself is already available both digitally and on CD, the group has gone a step further with this record by releasing a very collectible version too. A recent tweet from Laurence Manning confirmed that a vinyl version of Trio of the Goddesses is on sale now.

Produced by video game record label Mana Wave Media, Trio of the Goddesses focuses on highlighting the skills of all three composers and brings forth an amazing compilation of well-known Zelda music. The LP features 16 arrangements from across the entire Zelda franchise and fans can expect to hear songs from Breath of the Wild, Majora’s Mask and even the very first Legend of Zelda title:

  • A1 “Ballad of the Goddesses”
  • A2 “Tal Tal Heights”
  • A3 “Ballad of the Windfish”
  • A4 “The Great Sea”
  • A5 “The Dark World”
  • A6 “Title Theme” (From Ocarina of Time)
  • A7 “Saria’s Song”
  • A8 “Song of Healing”
  • B1 “Main Theme” (From The Legend of Zelda)
  • B2 “Termina Field”
  • B3 “Midna’s Lament”
  • B4 “Main Theme” (From Breath of the Wild)
  • B5 “Mipha’s Theme”
  • B6 “Orchestra Piece #1” (From Twilight Princess)
  • B7 “Zelda’s Lullaby”
  • B8 “Fi’s Farewell”

The LP’s cover art depicts Laurence Manning Trio as the three titular goddesses themselves, and was designed by artist Felix Abel Klaer. The vinyl comes in four colors which includes Emerald Galaxy, Sapphire Galaxy, Ruby Galaxy, and a limited edition Gold Nugget. The three default colors are priced at $29.99 USD each, with the limited edition costing $31.99 USD. As of this writing, Sapphire Galaxy and Ruby Galaxy are the only two colors left available for purchase. Distribution of the vinyl record outside of the United States will be done by two different labels: Very Ok Vinyl for Canada and Black Screen Records for Europe.

If you’re still interested in obtaining a copy of Laurence Manning Trio’s Zelda-focused album but can’t snag a vinyl copy, you’re in luck. The record is available digitally ($7.24 USD) or on CD ($10.86 USD) through Bandcamp and Laurence Manning’s website. A couple of songs from Trio of the Goddesses can also be listened to on Manning’s official YouTube channel.
