We are less than a week away from the Zelda Dungeon Marathon! The closer we get, the further away it feels, so we thought we’d help you out with the cure and give you a killer episode of The Champions’ Cast with renowned composer Rozen! A returning guest to the show, we sit down and pick his brain about composing, his origin story, his new album Ballads of Hyrule, get a hint of his next project, and much more! Then…

The Breath of the Wild Champions are one of the game’s high points, in part due to their incredible voice actors. These voice actors have gathered at Salt Lake Gaming Con, and Zelda’s voice actress herself posted a group photo to her Twitter account. However, what seems to be quite incredible about the shot is the group is arranged according to a rather good fan art. In it, the modern day leaders and those who help Link access the Divine…

The release of The Legend of Zelda Encyclopedia has provided a comprehensive collection of items, enemies, characters and languages for fans to immerse themselves in and while doing so, they can expand upon the lore that is touched upon in Hyrule Historia.  One part of the Encyclopedia focuses heavily on Historical Records, more specifically on Geography and Nature. In fact, if you look at page 61, you would find a section that details ‘Towns Named For Sages’. As some fans know, most towns in The Adventure…

BioWare’s action RPG Anthem was one of the marquee showings at EA’s E3 presentation. While the publisher hopes that the sci-fi title will launch a brand new blockbuster franchise, some are skeptical due to the disappointing reception to BioWare’s previous effort, Mass Effect: Andromeda, in March 2017. A lackluster story and various technical issues were cited as reasons for Andromeda‘s failure, but it seems members of BioWare’s development staff place part of the blame on a certain game in the…

During Nintendo’s E3 showing of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, director Masahiro Sakurai and his team surprised us all by revealing that this new installment would bring back every single character from past Super Smash Bros. titles. To further cement Ultimate as — fittingly enough — the ultimate Smash Bros. experience, the developers also revealed that several classic stages, like The Legend of Zelda‘s Great Bay, would also be returning. But if you were hoping that every past stage would return…

Canadians may just be the biggest Zelda fans. As part of a recent interview with the Toronto Star, Nintendo of America president Reggie Fils-Aimé shared about Nintendo’s sales successes in Canada, especially in regards to a few specific game series. According to him, The Legend of Zelda, alongside other popular series like Pokémon, has consistently overperformed in Canada as compared to other territories. Fils-Aime stated that “the Canadian audience is the very tip of the mountaintop when it comes to Zelda games,”…

A message from Zelda Dungeon‘s Forum Team by Forum Manager Choung “Ninja” Ngyuen: On June 16th, news was broken that one of our former administrators of the Zelda Dungeon forums, Jamie, has suddenly passed away. Many of us are heartbroken because we have lost someone that genuinely cared about the forum, and everyone’s well being inside it. Jamie was a beloved member of the community, and had a hand in making it one of the best places for Zelda fans…
