Update: Adi Shanker made his big announcement on Friday. While rampant speculation suggested that the producer was working on a Legend of Zelda adaptation, it was revealed that he is instead working on a new animated series based on Capcom’s Devil May Cry. This may come as a disappointment to some Zelda fans, but if Nintendo’s upcoming feature film projects are successful, we may still see our favorite fantasy series hit the small or big screen. Just recently Nintendo has registered trademarks for both Twilight Princess, and Wii Sports Resort. This should come as no surprise as most companies do this in order to keep their intellectual properties from the hands of other companies. According to the game news site Japanese Nintendo, this trademark is for a variety of items including “program for home video game machine”, “downloadable video game program” and “program for smartphone”. The “smartphone” part shouldn’t be all that shocking since there has always been rumors…

It appears that Nintendo may have something up their sleeves for the world of Zelda. Two new job postings recently went up on Nintendo Japan’s website hinting at new things in the works. The first position sought is a topographical designer to create terrains — very specifically, the ad calls out dungeons — along with level design and concept art creation. The second position Nintendo seeks to fill is a level designer, meant to handle game events and enemies. Understandably, both…

During their Financial Earnings report last month, Nintendo President Shuntaro Furukawa hinted towards future downloadable content for the Switch’s largest selling games, including Breath of the Wild. He said: “We need continuous growth. We must keep releasing new software. That includes DLCs and other contents for big titles that are already out.” Only three titles have surpassed 10 million sales for Nintendo’s latest console: Breath of the Wild, for which the second DLC pack was released in December last year (Nintendo…

Ultimate later this holiday. In that same announcement they revealed that “select” previously released Smash amiibo would also be getting re-released later this year. It seems that time has finally come as we’ve begun to see them pop up on store shelves! After doing a little digging we found that Target…
