Yasuyuki Oyagi has been an employee of Nintendo since the days of the Nintendo Entertainment System. He worked on the first two titles in the StarTropics series, before then working on Pilotwings 64, Mario Kart 64, and Star Fox 64. He joined the Zelda team on The Wind Waker, where he is credited as an Assistant Director. He would go on to work on a number of titles in the Mario Kart and Super Smash Bros. franchises.
