Wooden Sword

The Wooden Sword is the very first sword you get in the ''Legend of Zelda series''. Because of that,it is the weakest sword. It is normally the fist item you get in the game. It has appeared in the The Legend of Zelda (Game), The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Ages The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Seasons, and The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess

The Wooden Sword is the very first item you are allowed to obtain. While it is optional, if you don't pick it up the game becomes considerably more challenging. When you spawn in the overworld, just walk into the first cave. Later in the game you can upgrade to the White Sword.

Twilight Princess

The wooden sword is again the very first sword Link receives. Link obtains the wooden sword from Rusl who repaired it and returned it to Link's House. Using this sword the player can practice all of the basic sword fighting skills on the training dummy just outside Link's house. This sword will remain in Link's inventory until after he rescues Talo who asks to borrow it. After the Twilight has covered Eldin Province, Wolf Link discovers the broken remains of the wooden sword on the ground. It is from these remains which he picks up the youth's scent.

In the Japanese version of The Legend of Zelda (Game) the Wooden Sword is just called, "Sword"
