The Legend of Zelda (Series) The Legend of Zelda Series was created in 1986 by Shigeru Miyamoto inspired from his childhood. The series is mostly an action-adventure genre with a few exceptions.The main protagonist is Link, trying to save The Hylian Princess Zelda from the “evil” clutches of Ganon.
