*Link is now able to attack diagonally, as opposed to the original, where he could only swing his sword in four set directions.
*Link is now able to attack diagonally, as opposed to the original, where he could only swing his sword in four set directions.
*Link is no longer limited to just two items equipped, as he can have his Sword, Shield, and Roc's Feather equipped at the same time.
*Link is now wielding the Hylian Shield, which is no longer an equippable item - it is always in use.

*While almost everything in the world shown thus far is identical, a ledge can now be seen on top of Kanalet Castle, allowing Link to jump off. This is presumably a quality of life improvement, allowing quick access for Link to leave the castle, as opposed to having to backtrack through the dungeon, as was required beforehand.

*Apple trees appear in the overworld, which Link can run in to, causing them to drop. They can be eaten, presumably functioning as Recovery Hearts.
*A new item, the Fairy Bottle, appears in the game. It "looks big enough to hold a Fairy inside"Nintendo Direct E3 6.11.2019. One can be found at the bottom of the Fishing Pond, another is given to Link from Dampé after completing a Chamber Dungeon.
*Link no longer needs to have the Power Bracelet equipped to pick up pots in dungeons.
New Features
Chamber Dungeons
Chamber Dungeon
These are customizable dungeons accessed by speaking to Dampé. Chambers can be earned during regular gameplay, and are placed in different shaped areas to form a complete dungeon. It's unclear whether or not a Chamber Dungeon requires a Boss and a Mini-Boss, though it is shown this way in the trailer. There is a timer, which counts up. Link can earn various items as reward, possibly depending on completion time. One reward is seen to be a Fairy Bottle.
