Stalfos Knights are recurring enemies in the Legend of Zelda series. They are heavily armored Stalfos. Appearances

Stalfos Knights appear in both red and blue versions. Similar to Stalfos, the red Stalfos Knights simply strike at Link with their swords, but the blue Stalfos Knights jump to attack. Stalfos Knights wear helmets and breastplates. Compared to regular Stalfos, they deal more damage to Link, and more damage is required to defeat them. The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past

Stalfos Knights appear only in the Ice Palace. They drop down from above, and then begin jumping at Link. If hit by the sword, Boomerang, or certain other weapons, they will collapse into a heap of bones, but will regenerate if not quickly destroyed by a bomb. Interestingly, their collapsed bodies can also be destroyed by a number of other items if struck a very high number of times. The most notable of these is the Boomerang, as it is not limited by ammo or magic; 56 strikes of the Boomerang are required to defeat a collapsed Stalfos.
