'''Mask-Mimics''' are enemies that have appeared in ''[[The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening|Link's Awakening]]''. They are based off from the Shy Guy enemy in the Super Mario Bros games.  

Mask-Mimics are strange enemies that copy your movements in opposite directions, much like the [[Arm-Mimic]].{{Ref|[http://zelda.com/universe/pedia/m.jsp The Great Hyrule Encyclopedia]|Native to the dungeons of Koholint Island, these pretenders wear masks and precisely match the moves of their opponents.}} A simple sword slash will do nothing but push this enemy back. Your sword will only harm a Mask-Mimic if you use a spin attack on it from behind. Alternatively, they can defeated with [[Arrow]]s or [[Bomb]]s. You can also pick up objects such as pots to throw at Mask-Mimics to take them out quickly. They can be found in [[Bottle Grotto]] and [[Face Shrine ]].
