In ''Twilight Princess'', Ordon Village is the site where the prologue takes place. Link works at the local ranch, helping [[Fado (Twilight Princess)|Fado]] herd [[Ordon Goat|goats]]. During the beginning of the game, Link must complete many tasks around the village, which will include a number of tutorials. His first task is to finish up herding the goats at the Ordon Ranch. He then awakens the next morning faced with a number of small tasks that he must do to obtain the [[Slingshot]]. This includes knocking down a Beehive, returning [[Uli]]'s [[Baby Cradle|Cradle]], and returning [[Sera]]'s cat. Link also gets the [[Wooden Sword]] in this area, as a gift from [[Rusl]]; however, [[Talo]] receives it from Link while chasing a [[Monkey]].

Once the prologue is complete and after [[King Bulblin]] has attacked Ordon Village, Link is not be able to return until he has escaped [[Hyrule Castle]]. Once Link does escape his imprisonment with the aid of [[Midna]], he is tasked with finding the [[Ordon Sword]] and the [[Ordon Shield]]. The Shield is located in [[Jaggle's House]] while the Sword is located in [[Rusl's House]]. Since Link is now in [[Wolf Link|Wolf]] form, the people of Ordon are hostile towards him and will see him as a beast.{{Unsourced}}

Later on in the game while having to traverse up [[Death Mountain]], the [[Goron]]s block Link's path. Due to Link being inferior in terms of strength, he has to return to Ordon Village at the request of [[Renado]]. Link speaks to Mayor Bo, who challenges Link to a sumo match, with the reward being the secret to outmatching the Gorons. Once Link has beaten Mayor Bo, he gifts him with the [[Iron Boots]]. After this section of the plot there is no need to come back to Ordon Village.

*If [[Link]] goes to the area where his [[Link's House|House]] is and he puts a [[Bomb]] at the edge of the map and does a [[Hidden Skills#Jump Strike|Jump Strike]], he would get on the ledge. On the ledge he may fall down into nothing because the ground looks normal. However, if Link follows the correct path he could see some strange looking houses with no doors or windows.

*The [[Ordon Village]] is named after its guardian, the [[Light Spirit]] [[Ordona]].

*In [[Ordon Village]], there is a hidden [[Orange Rupee]] which is located behind [[Rusl's House]]. Link will need the [[Gale Boomerang]] to obtain it.
