Masato Kimura is a game developer who has worked for Nintendo since the early 90's, working on numerous titles for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System, including F-Zero, Super Mario Kart, and Star Fox. He joined the Zelda team with the release of The Wind Waker as a Tool Designer and Programmer. Kimura would go on to work on Twilight Princess, but is more known for his work on the Mario Kart franchise.
