Many [[Korok]]s live in [[Korok Forest]], but 900 of them hide all over Hyrule. Finding the hidden Koroks by solving a small puzzle or locating their hiding place causes them to give him a [[Korok Seed]]. These puzzles may range from lifting up small rocks, to shooting arrows at balloons, to using [[Magnesis]] to fit a cube into a structure. Some Korok spots are also marked by a pinwheel; Link must stand on those spots to trigger the puzzle. Once Link solves the puzzle, the Korok appears and gives him a Korok seed. The location is then marked on the map, and the Korok stays in that spot from then on. The seeds can be given to [[Hestu]], a giant Korok, in return for inventory expansion.

Koroks are invisible to both regular people and monsters, and it's remarked by both the first Korok Link encounters, as well as [[Hestu]], that they indeed can't be seen.

The [[Korok Mask]], available from the [[Breath of the Wild Expansion Pass]] quest "[[EX Strange Mask Rumors]]", shakes when a Korok is hiding nearby, making it easier to find Koroks.
