Kazumi Yamaguchi is a designer who has worked for Nintendo since the mid-1990's. His first work in the Zelda series came with Majora's Mask, where he is credited as a Map Designer. He is one of just a few team members who worked on Majora's Mask who previously did not work on Ocarina of Time. He would go on to work on The Wind Waker, where he was credited with Graphic Support. Yamaguchi has been more prominently involved with the Super Mario franchise, having contributions with Super Mario Sunshine, Super Mario Galaxy, Super Mario Galaxy 2, Super Mario 3D Land, Super Mario 3D World, and Super Mario Odyssey.
