Jakamar

		This is Jakamar, Skyloft's resident middle-aged romantic repairman. He is tasked with maintaining the island's structures. He considers himself an artist. His best work is said to be a scene showing off Skyloft's colorfully tiled houses.

Personality and Appearance

Jakamar is a romantic at heart. He is dressed in typical Skyloft fashion.

Role in the Plot

On first meeting Jakamar, he's fixing the gate that prevents you from entering the rest of Skyloft. He then reminds you to pray to the Goddess over at the bird statue nearby and making a joke about "One in time saves nine". The bird statue is your save point. After discovering your Loftwing is missing, Jakamar will relate that he saw Groose's bird chasing yours, he doesn't know where they went, but he knows that Groose and his cronies are heading to the Wing Ceremony. He then tells you to go through the academy to get down to the city below.
