A Hearty Elixir is an item in Breath of the Wild. It restores Link's health in full, in addition to adding some temporary hearts, the amount of which depends on the strength. This is especially useful when going into a boss battle or raiding a tough enemy camp. It is made by mixing at least one monster part and one or more hearty lizards. By adding more lizards or more hearty ingredients you maximise the amount of extra hearts.
