This article is about the character in The Faces of Evil and The Wand of Gamelon. For his primary appearance, see Ganon.

Ganon is a character that has very similar appearances in both The Faces of Evil and The Wand of Gamelon.

The Wand of Gamelon

In Zelda: The Wand of Gamelon, Ganon has attacked the faraway land of Gamelon. The ruler of Gamelon, Duke Onkled sent word to King Harkinian. The King, and later Link, both traveled to Gamelon in an attempt to defeat Ganon. They were both captured, which prompted Zelda to travel there herself, to rescue them, and save the land of Gamelon from Ganon and his servants.

Zelda will confront Ganon at Reesong Palace where she will use the Fairy Lantern to expose Ganon to the light. Zelda can then use the Wand of Gamelon, binding him in chains and reseal him into what appears to be the Book of Koridai.

The Faces of Evil

In Link: The Faces of Evil, Ganon takes over the island of Koridai. Several of his minions have taken over parts of Koridai, building fortresses that resemble their characteristics. These are what are known as the Faces of Evil. Ganon is eventually confronted at Ganon's Lair, where he tries to get Link to join him. After Link tosses the Book of Koridai at Ganon, he will be sealed away within the book, where Ganon completes about how much it burns deep within the pits.
