Fused shadows are quest items that you must get in Twilight Princess. There are four to collect though
#REDIRECT [[Fused Shadow]]
you only have to go to three temples to collect them.
They are foundin the forest temple, goran mines and the lakebed temple. The fourth is found on Midnas head.
When Midna tells you to help her get them she doesn't tell you anything. When you go to the lakebed temple,
Lanayru, the light spirit, tells you the story behind them.
It is told that a long time ago that there were powerful wizard-like creatures who had access to a
powerful power. It was the power that now resides in the fused shadow. When the goddess's saw that they were
only doing evil with this power, they stripped them of their power and sent them to a new world. This was the
twilight world, they became the twili. The goddess's then stored the power in an artifact, the fused shadow.
Midna wanted them to save only her realm, but instead saved the world of light as well. After collecting the
fragment from the lakebed temple, Midna and link get transported to the spirit pond, where Zant attacks both of them.
He than takes all of the fragments from her. They must than get the mirror shards before getting them back from him
in the Twilight Realm. After Zant is defeated, she takes them back, afetr finding out that her own twilight power is still strong.
When used by Midna, she turns into a spider-like version of herself. It can destroy twilight barriors, and she does
so to the one surrounding Hyrule Castle. After defeating Ganon the second time, midna sends Link and Zelda outside
while using the fused shadows to attack Ganondorf. She was o match for him even with the fused shadows in use and
she is simply defeated. He is seen crushing the fragment that Midna used as a helmet between his fingers, destroying
the fused shadow forever.''[[The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess|Twilight Princess]]''
