They are invulnerable to all Link's weapons, except the [[Mirror Shield]], [[Skull Hammer]], and [[Light Arrow]]s, though they are never encountered after obtaining them. By using the Mirror Shield Link can shine light on them, turning them into stone. Then, Link can either throw them, which destroys them, or just simply smash them with the [[Skull Hammer]].
