Description: A Bombskit is a pesky enemy found only in the Overworld. It can be defeated with a slash of the sword or a projectile weapon, but the Bombskit's speed makes it impractical to try. The best way to deal with a Bombskit is to avoid it altogether. It can, however, be easily killed if Epona runs over one.

Overview
Bombskits are small creatures, having a head with two eyes, connected to two long and lanky legs. Bomskits are found in any large plain, namely Hyrule Field and the Kakariko Gorge. Most items can kill it in one shot, including the Sword and Hero's Bow. Also, Link can simply run them over with Epona, which is a one-shot kill.

Bomskits generally do not attack Link, but rather only fight if Link approaches them. Because of this, they are more of an obstacle than an enemy, as Link would be wise to go around them, but could also go straight to them. The only time they are a real problem is the first time Link has to cross Hyrule Field; this is because Link has to cross it on foot, making him vulerable to Bomskits. They drop bombs if Link approaches them, which cause half a heart of damage each. Later on in the game, once Link has rescued Epona from the Bulblins, he can simply run over them, making them much less of a problem. Additionally, once a Bomskit has been defeated, it leaves behind a Worm. This worm can collected using an Empty Bottle, and then used as bait while fishing with the Fishing Rod. The Chu Worm is similar in appearance to the Bomskit, but behaves differently.

Trivia
*Once defeated, a Bomskit leaves behind a Worm, which can be collected in an Empty Bottle and used as bait alongside Link's Fishing Rod.
