Arpagos will often times travel in groups, so Link must quickly enter a building if there is a group of them, or defeat them one at a time as they appear. Arpagos will always leave red [[Rupee|rubies]] behind once they have been defeated.

Arpagos are pterodactyl-like creatures from The Faces of Evil and The Wand of Gamelon.

The Faces of Evil

Arpagos are red flying creatures that can be found in Goronu, Harlequin Bazaar, Militron, Shipwreck Cliff, Toyku Lighthouse, Glutko, Fortress Centrum, Lupay, and Hermit Flat. They will come swiping down trying to hit Link. They are some of the annoying enemies in the game as they swoop down at different height levels, making it hard to judge where they need to be hit. In order to defeat an Arpagos, Link must jump and slash his well timed sword.

Arpagos will often travel in groups, so Link must quickly enter a building if there is a group of them, or defeat them one at a time as they appear. Arpagos will always leave red Rubies behind once they have been defeated.

The Wand of Gamelon

Arpagos can be found in Sakado, Ahitaru, Washubi Swamp, Tykogi Tower, Shutoy Lake, and Reesong Palace. They look like and act the same as the did in The Faces of Evil.

After saving the Baker from Tykogi Tower, Zelda can purchase a loaf of Bread in Sakado. When bread is used, Arpagos will flock towards the bread as opposed to coming after Zelda.
