Kiki is a monkey, who dwells in the maze near the Palace of Darkness, the first dungeon after entering the Dark World. When going through the maze, Kiki begins following you. Kiki tells Link that he can get him inside of the Palace, but he requires 10 Rupees to do so. When Link gets to the Palace of Darkness, he finds that the gate is closed. Kiki then offers to open the gate, but at the cost of 100 rupees. If Link says yes, then Kiki will go to the top of the Palace and press a switch, opening the door.
