When Nuranurus travels, they leaves behind a trail of green [[Bomb]]s in their path. These bombs can cause damage to their enemies or prey; but a Nuranuru will not be harmed by its own bomb.

| Nuranuru move slowly around and can be easily destroyed by most weapons. Two swipes with the [[Master Sword]] will defeat them. Usually at the point when Link encounters a Nuranuru he already has the [[Blue Mail]]. With the added armor, Link will still take two hearts of damage if he contacts a Nuranuru. Nuranuru also later found within [[Turtle Rock (A Link to the Past)|Turtle Rock]] and [[Ganon's Tower (A Link to the Past)|Ganon's Tower]].
