Link set out through a mysterious woods and after several months of searching he became seemingly lost. He encountered the Skull Kid, who he saw on his previous adventure. This time he had two fairies, [[Tatl]] and [[Tael]], the mischievous Imp ordered them to attack Link and then stole Epona from the hero as well as the Ocarina of Time.
