Third Day refers to the Final Day, part of Majora's Mask game play. The Third Day is part of a steady countdown. Once the Third Day comes to an end, Link must travel back in time by three days. Traveling backwards resets much of the game play, including dungeons. If Link does not travel backwards in time, the world will come to an abrupt end as the moon crashes into Clock Town.
