The '''Wooden Shield''' is a recurring [[Shield]]s in the Zelda series that are, quite obviously, made out of wood. They are typically the weakest shield and the first shield [[Link]] obtains.

The Wooden Shield from ''[[The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess|Twilight Princess]]'' is an optional item that can be purchased from the [[Malo Mart]] in [[Kakariko Village]]. This shield is larger than the [[Ordon Shield]] but comes with the same weakness to fire. This shield can be purchased again if it becomes turns into ashes. The design on the front resembles something like a bird and appears to be painted with white paint. This shield is generally considered a meaningless purchase due to the fact that it becomes available at the same time as the [[Hylian Shield]], a far stronger and more preferable shield.
