After Link enters the room, the group of three Lanmolas starts to break through the sandy floor and shoot out rocks in four directions (North, South, East and West). The only vulnerable part of the Lanmola is its head. Link can either strike the three Lanmolas with his sword, the Bow, or bombs. The Ice Rod can also be used and is the most powerful weapon against the Lanmolas. Link can detect where the Lanmolas are going to break through the floor by areas on the ground turning brown and rocky for a couple seconds. Once the Lanmolas fly out of the ground, Link can hit the head of each Lanmola. Each Lanmola can be defeated when Link deals six hits by his sword to them. Once Link defeats two Lanmolas, the third Lanmola will shoot out rocks in eight directions instead of four. Once Link defeats the last Lanmola, he is rewarded with a Heart Container and the Pendant of Power.
