Grog is the blue person with spiky hair that sits in front of the tree in Kakariko Village when Link is a child. As an adult, Link finds him in the Lost Woods when he obtains Cojiro, a blue Cucco, from the Cucco lady as part of the trade sequence to get the Biggoron Sword. Grog was the only one that Cojiro would crow around, so when Grog sees that Link has Cojiro, he assumes that Link is a nice guy and asks him to take a mushroom to the potion hag (Granny) to make a potion for him. When Link does, by the time he gets back, Grog is gone and a Kokiri girl is where he was. She says that he turned into a Stalfos, as all humans do when they get lost in the Lost Woods.
