The "running man" is a man seen running around Hyrule Field (around the Ranch to be more specific) when Link obtains the Bunny Hood to try to sell. He says that he wants to be as fast as a rabbit. When shown the Bunny Hood, he freaks and fills Link's wallet to buy it, no matter how many more rupees Link's wallet can hold. (Meaning he will pay up to 500 rupees for that mask!) When morning breaks, the "running man" takes off so fast that it knocks Link down if he is near him. He is seen running along Hyrule for the rest of the game, so long as Link is a child. As an adult, Link can race him from the Gerudo Valley to the Kokiri Forest, but he always beats Link by one second. | |||
