She was trapped in the Ice Cavern when Zora’s Domain freezes over, but after being saved by Sheik she heads for the Water Temple to try and save her people. She disappears while trying to assist Link in the Temple, only to awaken as the Sage of Water upon Link’s triumph over the Temple’s boss. In light of her new duties, she cuts off her engagement to Link at this time.
