It's the first [[Spiritual Stone]] in the game. [[Link]] earns it from the [[Great Deku Tree]] after defeating [[Gohma]] in ''[[The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time|Ocarina of Time]]''. During the events of the game, Link must use the [[Song of Time]] in conjunction with the Spiritual Stones to open the [[Door of Time]]. After this happens, the stones (including the Kokiri's Emerald) rest on the altar in the [[Temple of Time]] near the now-opened Door of Time.
