Video Series Looks at How to Dive Into The Legend of Zelda if You’re New to the Series

Getting someone into the Zelda series is no cake walk. One must consider where to start them in the three-decades worth of games, explain the massive lore of the franchise, and try to make them understand your unacquainted love for Link. However there are those out there who are willing to give this massive challenge a try.
The person taking this huge quest on is YellowSuperNintendo, who just recently released the second episode of his Where to Start series, giving some tips on where to begin in the Zelda series. For the 2D titles, he recommends that you don’t start out with the original NES The Legend of Zelda, but A Link to the Past, or even The Minish Cap.
As for the 3D ones, YSN recommends Ocarina of Time, but also The Wind Waker and Twilight Princess since it really all depends on what tone of Zelda you want. If you’re going with Breath of the Wild, he suggests going with that one only if you’re a fan of heavy exploration. YSN goes into greater detail in the video, so it’s worth checking out if you need more advice on what to start off with.
