In an era of remakes, remasters, and ports, The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap is one of the most egregious omissions. Considered by many to be the best of the handheld Zelda games and one of the top games in the franchise, the game has been enjoyed by too few fans because of the challenge of accessing the game. Link embarks on another fantastic adventure to save the land from the powers of darkness, this time helping the Minish against the evil sorcerer Vaati. Thanks to his magical talking cap, Ezlo, Link manages to save the day and restore peace. As the game draws to a close, players are treated with a beautiful song called “Peace Returns,” which features a version of “Zelda’s Lullaby” in a minor key.

Thanks to Aaron Grubb, a talented musician and Zelda enthusiast, fans can enjoy a gorgeous cover of this song. Previously, Grubb has covered other popular songs from the franchise, including “Last Day” from Majora’s Mask, “Lon Lon Ranch” from Ocarina of Time, “Dragon Roost Island” from The Wind Waker, and even the classic “Game Over” music from the original Zelda on the Nintendo Entertainment System.

The featured art for Grubb’s cover of “Peace Returns” is a piece from Zelda fan and talented artist KellDraws_.
