Josh M, owner of the channel Really Freakin’ Clever is taking a look at yet another Zelda game and the things he calls tongue-in-cheek “wrong” with it. Starting way back in april of 2013 with the video 64 Things Wrong with Ocarina of Time, he turned the affectionate parody into an entire series. Normally the channel does longer videos, but because Josh will be moving soon he could not make the full 64 things wrong with A Link to the…

Welcome back to the Voidcast! This month, we look back at the terrible, horrifying monsters and petrifying evils that Link has had to endure throughout the Zelda series… and how Link never really reacts to any of it. Link has been given a bit of personality in a few games, sure, but should he not be seeing some of the scarier things in the games, and be totally freaking out? Does Link need to have more reconizable reactions to the…

Science is cool. Admit it. Not only does science help to explain the secrets of the universe, but it can also explain the world of Zelda. In the past, Majora’s Mask‘s moon has been called into question, as things like its specific size and speed leading to such massive destruction is rather inconceivable, but this new episode of Space Time on PBS Digital Studios‘ YouTube channel takes things a step further, and examines how a black hole being inside of…

YouTuber TrailerDrake, known best for his Unpopular Opinion series, has finally caved to the demands of his viewers. Drake made his name by pointing out the weaker parts of popular games and series gathered a few million views combined over all of these videos. After the success of this video he turned this into a series, making the 64 Things Wrong…

Reputable singer and video game fan Jillian Aversa has recently posted a video on YouTube of her vocal cover of Zelda’s Lullaby and Skyward Sword‘s Ballad of the Goddess. Kyle Hill, host of the scientific YouTube show “Because Science” and member of the Nerdist channel took the time to explain the Zelda timeline split using some real-life scientific theories and concepts. Now, many people here are very likely to know the way the timeline is laid out already, but there are also some details about theoretical physics that you may very well not know of, so while the science may explain the timeline, the timeline, for some, can also…

There have been a good deal of Zelda related buildings, icons, and maps spotted floating around the Minecraft universe; in this particular bit of fan material though, the plot of nearly every Legend of Zelda game has been packed into a minute long Minecraft-style parody of the series. The video pokes fun at some of the series’ idiosyncrasies and Link’s sleepy tendencies. In the end, Link goes a little haywire and makes some rash decisions. Alexis S. AndersonAlexis S. Anderson…

If music soothes the savage beast, then the Song of Healing must be a special kind of symphony. For those of you who enjoy covers of music from the Zelda franchise, check out this soothing piano performance of the Song of Healing by YouTube user Brian Stauffer. The video was posted yesterday to celebrate the release of Majora’s Mask 3D, and Brian shows his love for the game in this beautiful piece. Make the jump to take a listen!
