Hey everyone! Welcome back for the last Voidcast of this year! To end off 2014, I wanted to look at the divine bodies of the Zelda series, and how they could be used in future games. With the holiday season’s several religious holidays coming up, it seemed appropriate to examine the religious elements of Zelda, and to think of the impact they could have if used right. This time on the Voidcast, or at least the mid-month lead-up to the next episode, I wanted to go over the points of Hyrule Warriors that stood out as things that are worth seeing in a main series Zelda title. Zeldamotion, a group wishing to bring the A Link to the Past manga to life through animation, has finally revealed their first episode! Charming voice-acting and smooth visuals make this look like the whole series will turn out great. Check out the video after the jump!

Recently, a Tumblr artist know as “PencilTest” was discovered working on a Zelda-inspired fan-film.  The actual video cannot be viewed yet as it has not been published, but he has put out some animated GIFs of his Zelda work that have been created in Maya, After Effects, and Photoshop. Welcome back to the Voidcast! Everyone has their favorite series characters, but I’m sure that some of your favorites are villains. Why is this? Today, we delve into what makes the Zelda villains we’ve seen good or bad, and what can be done to make them even better in the future. Check out the video after the jump!

James Farr’s intense Star Wars/Nintendo crossover series continues with Part 2 of Return of the Hero. Super Smash Wars has repeatedly impressed viewers with fast-paced, custom-animated videos, and it has now reached it’s end. Enjoy the exciting conclusion to Link Skywaker’s story, and expect a really awesome battle to top it all off. Watch the video after the jump!

YouTube user Raff365 has recently created a paper cut stop-motion video of the early moments from The Legend of Zelda. The stop-motion video covers Link’s early adventure, acquiring the sword, defeating Octoroks, and entering the first dungeon. It lasts just over a minute and is rather simplistic, but it is certainly a job well done. Go ahead and make the jump to watch the video.

Once again, Link Skywaker is back to save the day in the latest episode of YouTuber James Farr’s awesome series- Super Smash Wars, a fast-paced Nintendo parody of Star Wars. This creative series manages to perfectly match Nintendo characters with those of Star Wars, and this episode is no different. Check out the video after the jump!

A little over a year ago, a channel on YouTube called BaruchFilms released a highly popular short film based on the Legend of Zelda, called ESCAPE. The director of the video has now released his announcement video for a feature-length adaptation of ESCAPE, called PRINCESS IN ANOTHER CASTLE.
