Super Smash Wars 3: Return of the Hero – Part 1/2

Once again, Link Skywaker is back to save the day in the latest episode of YouTuber James Farr’s awesome series- Super Smash Wars, a fast-paced Nintendo parody of Star Wars. This creative series manages to perfectly match Nintendo characters with those of Star Wars, and this episode is no different.

I fully admit to not being much of a Star Wars fan, so some of the references in this are more or less lost on me, but the obvious ones that I do get show off the genius placements and redesigns of Nintendo heroes and villains to fit their Star Wars roles. Wario as Jaba, the Piranha Plant as a Sarlacc, Phantom Ganon as Darth Vader; it all really works well, and I can’t wait for the last installment.
