YouTuber BenyHild has put together a short animation depicting Skyward Sword Link’s first day of school, and it is quite well done. With a unique, almost watercolor type of style, the short film is extremely cute, and gets it’s point across in the short time it lasts. Check out the video after the jump!

YouTuber Tsuko G., known for his KAZOO’d series of game music covers played on kazoo, has once aain return to Zelda music, this time choosing Tal Tal Heights’ theme from Link’s Awakening. The upbeat nature of the original tune gives you the obvious adventurous feeling that the game location was meant to have, but hearing this theme, or any music really, played on kazoo just brings out something really hilarious in this classic background tune. The YouTuber who made it big with lovingly poking fun at Ocarina of Time, Josh M. of the channel Really Freakin’ Clever, has released yet another part in his series where he looks at the things wrong with Majora’s Mask. In the first three parts he did the opening of Majora’s Mask and did the first two dungeons: Woodfall Temple and Snowhead Temple. For part four he will not yet go to the lovely Great Bay Temple yet though: instead…

Austin of the ThatOneShowFun YouTube channel, well-known for his popular show, Eggbusters, has a new show called Cross Examination, and the first episode is on Skyward Sword. There are a lot of critiques of the Wii title that regularly float around the web that are of, admittedly, questionable quality. Austin discusses the weak arguements people often use in their internet reviews in the first part of his Skyward Sword episode. Check out the video after the jump.

It seems that no matter how recently a game comes out, glitches will be found and hugely exploited for speedrun purposes. People started finding glitches in A Link Between Worlds almost right after it came out, and the resulting exploits were quite funny. YouTuber AurumDude has showcased many interesting glitches, mainly used for speedruns, and many of them are quite simple to reach with some practice. Check out the full video after the jump!

One thing in the Zelda series that has often gone surprisingly unmentioned throughout the last three decades is the royal family of Hyrule. In a game that focuses on an adventure usually involving having to save a princess, you would think that the princess’ family would be more involved, and yet there is a lot of room for theorizing about them, as they are not seen much. A little while back, YouTubers HMK and Commonwealth Realm joined together to discuss…

In these prosperous days of Zelda players being able to see live orchestras play their favorite in-game music in concert halls full of fellow fans, it is cool to see the awesome orchestrations a singlew person can make from the comfort of their home. Technology is good. YouTuber RebeccaETripp has put together a long and impressive orchestral medley of songs from Ocarina of Time, and it is a great way of hearing orchestral versions of many of the tracks that…

There are quite a few wars that are detailed in the series, but are never seen in the actual games, and apparently, even after the release of Hyrule Historia, people are still debating about what occurs during and after each war, and which wars referenced in the games are which. Two specific wars that are often mixed up are the Interloper War referenced in Twilight Princess, and the Civil War spoken of in Ocarina of Time. HMK on YouTube has…

Welcome back to the Voidcast! This month, we take a short look at what Nintendo can learn and try out now that they have made Hyrule Warriors, a successful spin-off from the Zelda series. There are near-endless options, so what could come of another Zelda side game? What other kinds of games could Zelda’s central content work in? Check out the episode after the jump!

Sometimes things aren’t always what they seem, even the Lens of Truth has its limitations. Most Zelda games have some sort of plot twist changing the way you view what’s going on and sometimes affecting your goal. Not too long ago I posted about a video showing the ‘true’ ending to Majora’s Mask but now we have the other end of the game: the beginning. YouTuber The Alien Banana has created a short animation showing the true reason the moon…
