Our very own Daniel, one of our primary video content creators, has taken on the task of analyzing the new Breath of the Wild footage. It’s a different approach compared to GameXplain’s, who seems more focused on where things in the world are located and less on cross comparisons to other titles in the series. Some new and different ideas are presented, which seems to be true with every single analysis of this footage. I’m not kidding, the more people that look at the footage, the more new ideas and realizations seem to crop up…

It was recently revealed why Nintendo shelved The Wind Waker 2 to develop Twilight Princess. If you haven’t read up on that yet, I highly suggest you do. The Daily Debate for today is asking the question of whether the big N should revisit The Wind Waker 2 in a post-Breath of the Wild world. Many fans adore The Wind Waker, and with the HD remake that released on Wii U years ago, soon it may be an appropriate time to develop the sequel some feel this game deserves. Perhaps the sequel (which would launch on Nintendo Switch)…

Happy Monday, everybody. Are you all ready for another Zelda Informer Caption Contest? After our recent adventure into Skyrim, I wanted to take a bit of break and relax. And nothing is more relaxing than a nice fishing trip, which is why this week’s contest is heading to Ocarina of Time‘s Fishing Hole. Unfortunately, it looks like the Pond Owner is giving Link a bit of grief; I wonder why that is…

Happy Saturday, Zelda fans. The weekend means another ZI Photoshop Contest is ready to begin. Just a few days ago at The Game Awards, we were given a big, juicy taste of Breath of the Wild, including a new trailer and new gameplay video. A standout star from the trailer for me was the adorable dog that was seen running alongside Link and his horse. This canine NPC has got me thinking of the many great dog characters in Zelda history; so I figured we can use this contest to honor these furry friends. Highlight your favorite, and be sure to see the winners of last week’s contest: Give a New Job to a Zelda Merchant

Welcome back to the podcast. Like Nate said, this week’s podcast is broken up into several different parts, for better or worse. In this one, we discuss what games could really make a bang for the Switch’s launch. As we know, it’s important for a console to have a good set of launch games, otherwise, it might flop. Which game should that be, though? Mario? Zelda? Splatoon? Something else? We also address whether or not it is worth it for Nintendo to continue to add games to the Wii U virtual console. Find out our opinions and more on today’s section of the podcast! As is the case with our predictions video and the rest of this podcast, it’s just Nate and I!

This week’s podcast is a bit of a special affair, as the full cast runs just under 3 hours in length. We realize that’s a lot to digest in a single sitting, so we have split up the cast into multiple parts that we will be releasing each day, with the final release being the full 3 hour cast in video form. This is important to note since each release will include the full 3 hour audio, as we are only splitting up the video portions. Today we’re bringing to you our 90 minute “end of podcast” The Game Awards 2016 prediction special. We go through almost every single award and the various nominees, giving predictions on which title we think will win each award along with the title we personally want to win each award…

Good day, fellow travelers. I hope you’re ready to embark on yet another Zelda Informer Caption Contest. Last week, EmberLab’s outstanding fan film “Terrible Fate” was released alongside Theophany’s fan album Time’s End II, offering some interesting new takes on Majora’s Mask‘s backstory. This news definitely reinvigorated our love of Majora’s Mask, so we’ve decided to let the game inspire this week’s contest. But just as “Terrible Fate” gave us a fresh perspective on the title, so too will our contest put its own spin on Majora’s Mask

Happy Saturday, all you Zelda fans. I hope you’re ready for yet another ZI Photoshop Contest. Yesterday, our nation celebrated a cavalcade of deals and discounts in what we’ve come to know as Black Friday. This annual blowout of commercialism put many real-life retailers at the front of our minds, sadly leaving some of our favorite Zelda shop owners and merchants out of the fun. We hope to correct this negligence in this week’s contest, as we honor these Zelda vendors by giving them better professions in time for the Black Friday weekend…

Alfred and yours truly do something a little different this week in celebration of Thanksgiving. No, we don’t stuff our face with Turkey and see who throws up first, but we do something that might be even more entertaining than any sort of eating contest. Before I dive into that, we do go over some of the juiciest Nintendo Switch rumors from this past week, including a

full slate of “confirmed” games and when they will be releasing, including a lengthy conversation about Breath of the Wild not making it at launch

Happy Monday, everyone. As you may know, the week cannot officially begin before Zelda Informer kicks off another of its Caption Contests. Thanksgiving is just a few days away (in America), and many people will be partaking in a hardy meal of turkey, mash potatoes, and cranberries. All that food can sometimes add a few pounds to a person. This is why this week’s contest features an image of our hero Link after a few meals and a few added pounds…
