Rumor: Breath of the Wild is Launching June 16th on Nintendo Switch in the UK, June 23rd on Wii U

We have no reason to question the validity of Laura Kate Dale, who has a great track record when it comes to these sort of rumors. Word on the street is she’s been blacklisted by Nintendo UK, which basically means she’s legitimate. Yesterday, we pointed out Target is listing Breath of the Wild as a June 13th release date for the US. Today, Dale claims it will launch on June 16th in the UK for Nintendo Switch, with a later date of June 23rd for the Wii U version.

Keep in mind Nintendo has stated the Wii U and Nintendo Switch versions of the game will launch simultaneously, but the company has lied in the past. Remember when we reported that Wii U production was ending, and Nintendo flat out denied it? Well, Wii U production has ended. Also, let us not forget when Nintendo said they will never develop mobile games.
