Step aside fan games and the thousands of musical renditions out there. Today “Terrible Fates”, a fan created short film and album, have released. However, unlike most other fan projects in existence, including all those lovely Unreal Engine 4 ordeals, this is one project you could easily be forgiven for thinking is an officially licensed and created Nintendo project. Because simply put, the level of quality of both the film and the album rival even some of the most professional and official offerings. The Zelda Cartoon series can’t hold a candle to this short 4+ minute journey.

While the film is impressive on its own, that’s merely one part of the experience. Times End II, a follow up to the original Times End album released many years ago now, has released to coincide with the film. The album is completely free and includes 10 masterful pieces from

Majora’s Mask, though free version links for the album aren’t live just yet. I highly encourage people to

support the album officially over on Bandcamp, where you can set your own price for the entire album as low as $1. Here is the streamed version:
