In one of his latest videos, YouTuber TedescoCreations did a Piano cover on Sage Laruto. It is done both somberly and elegantly, with the audio being of high quality. It was done on Keyboard and is one of my personal favorite songs from The Wind Waker. The visuals of the video are also done well with a cool background shown behind both himself and the keyboard. The YouTube covers keep on coming, and we are glad to hear them! A while back, the talented duo of YouTube guitarists 72HoursRemaining covered a couple of lesser-appreciated songs from the series. They first released their rendition of Sword Search from Link’s Awakening, a memorable tune from the very beginning of the game. After that, they gave some love to Spirit Tracks with a cover of Anouki Village’s theme, which served as their holiday special. These two must put a…

To top off his 2015 year of covers, Youtube’s Banjo Guy Ollie produced a cover of Mabe Village from Link’s Awakening on– you guessed it– a banjo. He also employed a host of other instruments including a U-Bass, Bouzouki/Mandola, and Mandolin. The cover really does this great tune justice, and the banjo gives it a unique and rather cozy tone that fits the song’s role in the game perfectly. Banjo Guy Ollie’s version of Mabe Village is not to be…

TwoBreaths, a musical duo consisting of twins Dragomira and Soryane, have composed a unique cover to Dragon Roost Island’s theme. The score is done completely on the harp played by Dragomira. This piece is a wonderful way to spend those dark winter nights curled up with some hot cocoa. So grab your favorite pillow, find a comfy chair, and hit the jump to take a listen to this peaceful melody. Kassye Butler26 year old mother of 2 future gamers. Currently…

It comes as no surprise that I love Link’s Awakening, very much, and in turn I love its music. Its overworld theme has always stood out to me because while it stays true to the usual Zelda overworld music, the parts that vary are incredibly unique and fit the game perfectly. I have to say Soundole VGM Covers’s rendition of the song is magnificent, due partially to the eccentric instrument used to produce it. Akai EWI 4000s are electronic wind…

YouTuber Music By Pedro has done a collab with fellow online musicians, New Game Plus, to bring us a cover of Ocarina of Time and Majora’s Mask’s race theme. The cover is done with marimbas, guitar, and saxophone, and they did a great job. Check out the video after the jump!

Fresh off the heels of his previous Zelda cover when he did the intro of A Link to the Past, this time YouTube one man acapella choir and professional cat owner Smooth McGroove is covering yet another Zelda song. Having done several of Majora’s Mask covers and plenty of other themes, Smooth is no stranger to the Zelda franchise. This time he returns to Wind Waker, where he covers the Outset Island theme. It’s not very often that we hear Zelda cover songs with fan lyrics. It’s even less often than that when we find someone willing to make a tutorial and show their step by step creative process. YouTube user Josiah McDaniel has given his audience both of these with his cover of the Great Sea theme from The Wind Waker. Make the jump to check them out!

YouTube personality and acapella singer Smooth McGroove is no stranger to doing covers of songs of The Legend of Zelda. He has already covered several Majora’s Mask songs, and his cover of Ocarina of Time’s Gerudo Valley is currently his 10th most watched video. He has recently covered the intro theme of A Link to the Past, his third cover of a song from this game. You can listen to all three of these after the jump!

In Majora’s Mask, with all the chaos and sorrow around you, you often make your way to the Astral Observatory for a little peace. You burst the balloon that’s blocking your way and climb up a ladder to find yourself in that familiar yet oddly serene environment embraced in color. A mystical tune immediately puts you at ease, despite the fact of the moon falling…
