From the Raft to the Lens of Truth to Remote Bombs, Link’s arsenal is as varied as the challenges he comes across in his adventures. Some may have a very specific purpose, such as the Book of Mudora, while some can be handy in many situations, such as Magic Powder. Other items can be both fun and useful, such as the Hookshot or Clawshots. In seeing how Link uses many of these items to overcome challenges, I’m sure I’m not the only one who has wondered what items would be most useful in overcoming life’s everyday obstacles.

Many items in Link’s arsenal would help with everyday situations. The Lens of Truth would be helpful with the American political season starting to heat up. The ability to warp from place to place would be save a ton of time for the daily commute to and from work, and Link has had multiple options for warping, such as the Ocarina of Time itself or even the Sheikah Slate and Purah Pad. Since the Ocarina of Time also has the power to manipulate time via the “Inverted Song of Time” and the “Song of Double Time,” I would vote that as the most useful item for me. I could slow down time to finish a project or speed it up to get through something boring.

Some items may be useful in game, but are not great for everyday situations. For example, Bombs, perhaps one of the most recurring items in the series, are useful in the games, but not so much in real life. There are very few times in the average person’s life that they have need of explosives. Then again, for all I know, there’s a few demolition experts in the Zelda fandom and bombs would be useful! Pretty much any weapon or shield would not be useful in the average person’s everyday life. Luckily, we don’t have to go about slaying monsters. That’s why I’d focus on something that has more practical, everyday usefulness.

So, what Zelda item would be most useful to you in your life? Are there some items that would just be too powerful to actually exist? Let us know in the comments!
