Daily Debate: Do You Play Certain Zelda Games During Certain Seasons?

With August coming to a close and fall just around the corner (my absolute favorite time of year!) I have a seasonal to-do list. Some of the most important things on that list are playthroughs of games like Ocarina of Time, Twilight Princess, and Majora’s Mask. Why? Because these Zelda games have some of the darkest areas and quests in my humble opinion!

As a lover of all things Halloween and spooky at this time of year, I love playing through spooktacular temples like the Shadow Temple or Arbiter’s Grounds! I am not one for horror, but I do like to feel the adrenaline rush that hits when you’re sneaking around in video games with a creepy atmosphere (or in other words, the entirety of Majora’s Mask)! Some creepy areas in Zelda really just set the mood for the whole season, and I love it; so, I always wait to play them during the fall! Although, I do love riding my horse through the peaceful autumn-like atmosphere of Akkala in Breath of the Wild as well! Perhaps the sequel will have some new areas with fall vibes, too! Like in the beautiful featured fan art of this post! I just love all the feelings that come with autumn!
