It is speculated by many Zelda fans that the new title [[Shigeru Miyamoto]] was hinting at was either one of the new Zelda games introduced at E3 2015, Hyrule Warriors Legends and The Legend of Zelda: Triforce Heroes.

Zelda 3DS is a presently unannounced game being developed for the Nintendo 3DS.

In July of 2014, Shigeru Miyamoto briefly commented about the upcoming Zelda 3DS title.

"We are gradually changing the structure of The Legend of Zelda series, and we are preparing to newly evolve the series for Wii U. In addition to that, we have ideas for Nintendo 3DS which we have not announced yet, so I hope you will look forward to them."
